What services does The Creative Nook offer?

We specialize in three main services: Corporate Gifting and Branded Merchandise (custom engraved items for businesses), On-Site Event Engraving (live laser engraving at your event location), and Custom Personalized Gifts (engraved cutting boards, ornaments, drinkware, and keepsakes for any occasion).

What materials can you laser engrave?

Our laser engraving equipment can work with wood (cutting boards, coasters, signs), glass (wine glasses, beer mugs, picture frames), metal (stainless steel tumblers, water bottles, keychains), leather (wallets, journals, portfolios), acrylic (ornaments, awards, signage).

Where is The Creative Nook located?

We are based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and operate by appointment. We serve the entire Milwaukee metro area including Wauwatosa, West Allis, Brookfield, Oak Creek, Franklin, Waukesha, and surrounding communities in Southeastern Wisconsin. We offer flexible appointment times including evenings and weekends.

Ordering & Customization

How do I place a custom order?

You can email us at LFCreatesWI@gmail.com, call or text 414-376-3466, or browse customizable items in our online shop. For custom projects, we'll discuss your needs, provide a quote, create a design proof for your approval, and keep you updated throughout the process.

Can you help me design my engraving, or do I need to provide artwork?

Both! We offer design assistance as part of our service. You can provide your own artwork or logo, share inspiration and let us create a custom design, choose from our library of fonts and design elements, or work with us collaboratively. We'll always provide a digital proof for your approval before engraving begins.

What file formats do you accept for logos and designs?

We can work with most common file formats including vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF - preferred) and image files (PNG, JPG at high resolution - at least 300 DPI). If you only have a low-resolution image or aren't sure about file formats, send us what you have and we'll work with it.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No minimum order quantity. We happily accept orders from a single personalized gift to large corporate orders of hundreds of items. Every project—large or small—receives the same attention to detail and quality.

Timeline & Delivery

What is your typical turnaround time?

Standard orders take 5-7 days from design approval. Large or complex orders may require 1-2 weeks. During busy seasons (holidays, wedding season), we recommend ordering as early as possible.

Do you offer rush or expedited service?

Yes! Rush service is available depending on our current workload. Contact us as soon as possible with your deadline, and we'll do our best to accommodate your timeline. A rush fee may apply.

Do you ship, or is it local pickup only?

We offer both shipping (nationwide via USPS- shipping costs calculated based on size and weight) and local pickup by appointment in the Milwaukee area. We also offer local delivery for large orders or on-site event services in the Milwaukee metro area.

How much does laser engraving cost?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay through our online store. For large corporate orders, we can also arrange invoicing.

Quality & Care

How do I care for my laser engraved items?

Wood items should be hand washed and dried immediately, and treated with food-safe mineral oil periodically. Glass items are mostly dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for longevity. Metal items should be hand washed and avoid abrasive cleaners. Leather items can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and conditioned with leather conditioner as needed. We include care instructions with all orders.

Will the engraving fade or wear off over time?

No! Laser engraving is a permanent process. The laser actually burns or etches into the material, creating a permanent mark that won't fade, peel, or wash off. With proper care, your engraved items will last for years.

What if I'm not satisfied with my order?

Your satisfaction is our priority. We provide design proofs for approval before engraving begins. If there's an issue with your order, please contact us immediately at LFCreatesWI@gmail.com or 414-376-3466, and we'll work to make it right. Please note that because items are custom-made to order, we cannot accept returns on personalized products unless there is a defect or error on our part.
